Repeal Petition Filed to Remove Trapping Restrictions

The following petition to repeal 3 trapping restrictions was filed with the GFP Commission on May 2, 2014.  By law the gfp has 30 days to either deny the petition or to initiate the repeal process.

Please support your trappers by sending a quick email to the GFP Commission stating your support for the petition and your support for our trappers.  You do not need to be a SD resident to send your email or to voice your support.

With your support we can begin to rebuild our pheasant population.

May 6.  Received letter from one of the gfp's attorneys (Dick Neal) stating that the petition has been sent to the House and Senate members of the Interim Rules Review Committee and the Director of the Legislative Research Council.
